Coley talks about progress this spring

Read on to see what sophomore wide receiver Stacy Coley is saying as the team is about halfway through spring football.

On spring so far:
Right now we're just going through the motions, getting bused to the quarterback. Everyone is just trying to get better, offense and defense.

On the chemistry between the QBs and WRs:
The quarterbacks and receivers meet every day after class. We'll meet after class to go over the film and to see what we have to improve on.

On different things offensively: We're doing a lot of motion to see what the defense is doing and then go from there.

On his progress:
I'm just picking up the offense real fast. Ryan is teaching the young guys. I'm feeling really comfortable right now.

On being considered the No. 1 WR:
If it is, I have to take it but right now I'm learning from the veterans so right now we're all trying to become one and learn together.

On working with new QBs now:
My freshman year I was going with Stephen, Kevin, and Ryan so now it's all the same.

On the QBs:
Kevin is becoming a leader behind Ryan and is picking up the offense. Ryan keeps all the young guys calm.

On a big play made Tuesday:
I knew we had a transfer offensive guy playing defense so I started my route up top a little different and made a play.
