Bush: I'm fully healthy & ready to go

Deon Bush struggled through an injury all last season after a strong freshman season. He's fully healthy now and ready to make a big impact. Read on to see what he's saying that, spring so far, and more.

On his health:
I feel good. Everything is good. Health wise I'm good. Everything is going in the right direction right now.

On the defense as a whole:
The defense is playing so much better. Guys are doing their jobs and holding each other accountable. We just have to keep moving forward.

On Jamal Carter:
He's going to become a really good player. He's trusting the process, knows every aspect of the game, and is a tough kid. He's doing well.

On improving as a unit:
We're all working hard, holding each other accountable. The young guys are being brought in and we're all communicating well.

On communicating better:
The fact we're talking more off the field brings great communication. It teaches you how to communicate more off the field. We talk to each other every day. We have leaders. Everyone talks to each other on things they're not clear on. It's going on a lot more this year.

On the progress:
It's the same. We're in the offseason but you still have to watch film, learn the defense, and that's the biggest thing. We can work on the little things when we're finished like getting faster and getting stronger.

On why this year's defense will be improved:
We will have better accountability. We're all working together as a unit and I believe that will give us a chance to be better.
