Williams: We have to be more efficient

Ryan Williams wants this offense to be more efficient, to finish drives better, and to cut down on mistakes. Read on to see what he's saying about those things, who's been impressing him on offense lately, and more.

On who stood out in Saturday's scrimmage:
I think Rashawn Scott, D'Mauri Jones had great scrimmages. The whole offense did a great job of dominating the line of scrimmage.

On getting more guys, like Stan Dobard, involved this year:
It helps us become more explosive that you can't key on just one person. Personalities come out with the types of plays they make.

On how the offense can still improve:
We have to be more efficient on drives. We had a couple penalties and we gotta finish drives better.

On his mistakes from Saturday:
I had one turnout on a miscommunication. It won't happen again. It's just simple things. We are trying to get our stuff together at the line. We are just trying to get our operation down.

On becoming more of a vocal leader:
I think I definitely have and it's something I wanted to work on this spring. We are 11 practices in. I'm stepping out of my shell and trying to be more open and less quiet on the field. It's not tough. You just have to put your mind to it. If I'm going to be out there I have to find a way.

On Coach Coley:
He doesn't want us to go out there and free planning it. He prepares us well and puts us in good situations.
