Canes offer FSU legacy

The Hurricanes just extended an offer to one of the premier linebackers in the state of Florida. He also happens to be the son of a former FSU great. Read on to learn more about him and what Miami's chances are.

Devin Bush from Flanagan High says the Canes offered him a few days ago.

He lacks ideal size at around 5-foot-11 and 205 pounds.

He was extremely active on the field as a sophomore last season, and finished the season with well over 100 tackles and a few interceptions.

He landed several early offers from schools like USF, Pittsburgh, Louisville, and UCF but just lately Georgia and now Miami have jumped into the mix.

His father is former FSU standout Devin Bush Sr, who also happens to be his high school coach at Flanagan. While the Noles haven't offered him yet, it's probably only a matter of time. If and when that happens, it'll likely become extremely difficult for the Canes to stay seriously in the mix.

Miami's actively recruiting him now, and he plans on coming by the school for a visit this summer so the Canes are putting themselves in good position in the early going.
