Canes offer another QB

Another quarterback prospect claims the Hurricanes just offered him. Read on to learn more about him as a prospect and to see what Miami's chances are early on.

Dwayne Haskins from The Bullis School in Maryland told Scout that Miami just offered him this week. He's a 2016 grad.

6-foot-2 and 185 pounds. He didn't attend any of the major combines to get verified testing numbers.

His team finished the 2013 season with a 9-1 record. He finished 72-of-128 with 1,130 yards, 14 TDs, and 6 INTs.

He's a pure pocket passer who doesn't offer a whole lot in terms of running the football.

Scout has him as a 4-star and ranked No. 152 overall in the Class of 2016.

Ohio State was his dream school growing up, and they offered him recently. He visited there, and they seem to be in good shape early on. He's also taken recent visits to schools like Rutgers, Penn State, and West Virginia. He plans on seeing LSU next month. The Canes will need to get him down on their campus at some point to have much of a chance in the early stages.
