4 star RB signs Financial Aid wiith UM

Four star running back Dexter Williams signed a Financial Aid Agreement with the University of Miami yesterday.

Dexter Williams is one of the state's most heavily recruited running back prospects, and the West Orange High standout committed to the Hurricanes back in April.

Yesterday, he signed a Financial Aid Agreement with Miami. He becomes the third player in the 2015 class to do so, joining Bowman Archibald and Scott Patchan.

Williams, 6-feet and 200 pounds, has a tremendous blend of size, speed, and athleticism. He ran for over 1,000 yards last season and has offers from schools all over the country.

Despite making the commitment to the Canes back in April, Williams visited a few other schools over the summer and has indicated to Scout that he plans to take some official visits later this year.

Players are not officially binded to schools they sign this type of agreement with. Brandon Powell, for example, signed one with Miami and Florida last year and signed with Florida on Signing Day. The school, however, does have to honor the scholarship to any player who signs this agreement.
