Kaaya recaps FSU performance

Read on to see what true freshman quarterback Brad Kaaya is saying a couple days after his team's 4-point loss to Florida State.

On the cramping in the 3rd quarter:
I think maybe once in my senior year but not really. At the start of the second half, I went to throw and my plant leg cramped up. It was for a few plays in the third quarter but it sorta went away after a few throws.

On being able to move on from that game:
For us, we want to finish strong and we still can. For now, it’s only focusing on this week’s game.

On his outstanding freshman season:
I just put the work in and see what the outcome is.

On the first half vs the second half Saturday:
The first half we had to come out fast. A lot of things went our way. We got a lot of looks that we saw on film and we took advantage of it. After the first half that went away. They didn’t change it too much. They made a few plays when they dropped back into a zone. They batted some balls and I don’t know how.

On what that does for the team’s confidence:
We all knew we could have won that game. We all recognize that and it showed that we can compete with anyone. All the young guys see that and will use it as motivation. Especially against FSU, it’ll give the young guys a lot of fire going into next season.
