Walford glad he came back for Sr season

Read on to see what tight end Clive Walford is saying about the FSU game, his decision to return to school for his senior season, what he's telling the younger players, and about being a John Mackey Award finalist.

On coming back for his senior season:
It means a lot. It seems like I made the right decision for myself, my teammates, and my family.

On what advice he’ll give others in the future:
It was a tough decision so you have to weigh your options to make sure it’s the right choice for your future in terms of financially.

On what the younger guys have to look forward to:
Just to continue fighting. We laid it all on the line but came up short. After the game I told them to go out and get those guys next year.

On being a John Mackey Award finalist:
It shows all the hard work and conditioning during the offseason has paid off. I’m glad to be getting some recognition.

On potentially winning it:
It would mean a lot to me because I came back to improve my stock and get better at the game of football and it seems like I’m doing it.
