Q&A with Thurston Armbrister

Read on to see what senior linebacker Thurston Armbrister is saying a few days after the team's loss to Virginia and a few days before he'll play his final home game as a Hurricane.

On Pittsburgh this week:
Pitt’s like they’ve always been. They’re a running team with a good back. It’ll be a good challenge for us and the linebacker corps. Hopefully we can come out with a W.

On what happened vs UVA:
It’s hard to say. Things happen and you have to adjust and adapt and move forward.

On Senior Day:
It’s going to be emotional. I came in as a small freshman. I got developed into a new person. I’ve enjoyed this journey and it’ll be emotional.

On how he’s grown since his arrival:
I came in here as a pee wee. Coach D and Coach Golden helped me develop as a person and as a player. I’m glad to be a part of this.

On his journey here:
I’ve been here four years. It’s been up and down but that’s part of the journey. Going through that investigation (from the NCAA) made us become more of a family. It’s been great.
