4-star WR started Miami visit today

One of the state's premier wide receiver prospects started his official visit to Miami today. Read on to see where the Canes stand going in.

4-star WR Da'vante Phillips began an official visit at Miami today.

He's a premier WR prospect from Miami Central High, who beat Daytona Beach Mainland last night to advance to the state championship game set for next weekend. He has 45 catches for 701 yards and seven touchdowns on the season.

FSU is considered the front-runner (he took an official there last weekend) but Miami's definitely still in it and will have the weekend to change his mind.

Phillips, 6-foot-2 and 200 pounds, is one of the state's most heavily recruited wide receivers.
