On bowl prep:
You don’t know what to expect. Bowl week practices are different. They are more spread out. I’m excited to see what there is to see in Shreveport.
On the Duck Dynasty guys:
Hopefully they’re out there. I want to meet them.
On the break after the Pitt game:
We definitely needed it, especially with exams. We had a long season, didn’t go as planned so it allowed us to re-focus a bit.
On younger guys getting more reps during bowl prep:
It’s good because that’s how it’s going to be. We have to practice that. In the spring we’ll get out there too. All the redshirt guys are out there working with us so it’ll give us a jump for the spring.
On the importance of winning this game:
It’s important. It’ll give us momentum going into the spring. We are preparing, they’re preparing and it should be a good game.
On putting in South Carolina stuff in practice:
Nothing really yet. We’ll get there but we’re just getting back on our feet, getting healthy, and then we’ll get ready for them.
On knowing some of their players:
I know their backup quarterback. I played against him for three years in our conference in high school. They were one of the schools I looked at. They were in my top five. Steve Spurrier is a great guy and a great coach. I went down there on an official and a few times for unofficials.
