On Nick Linder’s status:
I expect him to be ready to play, to be available. I don’t want to jump to that yet.
On what he’s telling his team:
Enjoy the battle. They will make plays. We have to make more and come together when adversity strikes. I think they know what South Carolina is capable of. We have to execute. If they make a play, we can’t worry about it and just come back and make two.
On South Carolina:
We’re excited about playing South Carolina. They’re a talented team and it should be exciting. I don’t want it to be too exciting (laugh). I want our defense to play really well and it’ll be a great challenge for us.
On the strong chance of rain tomorrow:
I’m glad we got to practice in the rain. We’ll see how it changes things. We’ll get a feel. Is it a drizzle or steady? Is it accompanied by a gust? I wish we could buy a weather forecast but it’s not available. We’ll be ready for whatever conditions.
On the plan after the game:
We have a quick transition. We have a number of recruits at all star games. We have to make some decisions on some kids’ futures. We have to get back to work on the calendar for when the kids come back on January 12th. We have to get back and plot the course.
