* * Six 2015 prospects took their official visits to Miami this weekend.
QB Evan Shirreffs -- A 6-foot-6 late bloomer from Georgia, Shirreffs was not offered a scholarship but is definitely on the radar. Miami is still involved with a few other quarterbacks, including 5-star Torrance Gibson (who is now scheduled to visit here next weekend). There's a good chance Shirreffs will land a late offer and be in Miami's class.
WR Lawrence Cager -- A week after taking an official visit to Alabama, which concerned a lot of Miami people, Cager visited UM and re-affirmed his commitment to the Canes. He told Scout's Brian Dohn Sunday that he's 100-percent committed to the Canes.
DE Richard McIntosh -- The 3-star from Cardinal Gibbons committed to Miami very early and never wavered. This was his first official visit and no one else is seriously involved.
DE Shelton Johnson -- A 4-star from Palm Beach County, Johnson visited Michigan last weekend. No commitment was made today and he's set to see Florida State next weekend. It's a battle between the three for the talented pass rusher.
DT Kevin Scott -- The LA product said he had a great visit. He saw Purdue last weekend, USC last Monday, UM this weekend, and is set to see Ole Miss next weekend. He's expected to pick the Trojans in the end.
CB Michael Jackson -- An Alabama kid, Jackson committed early in the season and never wavered despite getting offers from schools like Clemson. He's expected to sign with Miami next week.
