Canes add 5-star DT transfer

The Hurricanes signed 20 high school recruits today and the school also confirmed the incoming transfer of former Florida Gator and five-star defensive lineman Gerald Willis.

The school has officially confirmed that Gerald Willis is now a Hurricane.

Same HS as Stan Dobard

He took visits out of HS to Texas A&M and LSU before signing with Florida.

He played in 8 games for UF as a true freshman this past season.

He was the player kicked off the UF sideline for shoving Jameis Winston after a play in their game vs FSU.

He will have to sit out 2015 because of NCAA transfer rules but will then have 3 years to play 3 starting in 2016.
