On being back on the field:
It’s been great. I’m not watching anymore. I’m running and getting back out with the boys. I’m doing what I do. I’m doing what I need to.
On becoming a leader:
I’ve taken that role. Not just me, I want everyone to take that role. If I go down, I want one of the younger guys to step it up.
On how he stayed motivated during the time off:
When I started practicing again last year, I knew I was here for a reason. I studied our corners and everyone else. It was hard not playing but at the same time it helped me become a more complete player.
On the multiple injuries:
I just threw myself back into it. It’s whatever. With my second one, they kept pushing me. I don’t even know how serious it was. Doctors just told me it was serious.
On how he dealt with it:
You cant really do anything. I had to sit up when I slept. I had pillows behind me, straight up almost. It took awhile to get used it. It’s not hard to sleep normal now.
