Q&A with Stan Dobard

Read on to see what tight end Stan Dobard is saying a few days before the team's annual spring game.

On Chris Herndon:
He’s very versatile. He can play H or Y. He has good quickness. He can slip into the open and turn it upfield.

On the group of tight ends:
We’re all getting better. The blocking always needs to get better. We can all get better on that.

On getting recognized for a scholarship:
I’m accepting an award the coaches voted me for. I’ll be happy to be there to accept it.

On what he’s working on:
I’m still working on being a leader of the offense and it’s coming along.

On what the coaches are saying about his spring:
Every practice they tell us how it went, what we did good or bad. Coach Scott will send us notes on different plays and stuff like that.

On areas of improvement:
Probably my blocks. I’ll have a good one and then slip up. I gotta be more consistent. It’s a lot of technique.
