Crawford talks about final spring practice

Read on to see what Dallas Crawford is saying a couple days before the team's spring game.

On his last spring practice:
It’s bittersweet. It’s been a long ride. Hopefully we can end on a good note and have a good spring break. It feels like I was just coming in for summer one back in 2011.

On being carried off the field today:
It felt great. I saw it with Denzel, Phillip, and them last year and now it happened to us.

On this year compared to last year:
I’m a completely different player. I’m seeing the game a lot better. I’m trusting myself. I’m not the same player – body wise or mentally. I cut about 12 or 13 pounds since the bowl game. I feel faster and just feel better in general. I’m 196 now.

On what they want to accomplish:
Just being disciplined. Penalties killed us last year. And we want to bring down the ME’s (mental errors).

On playing in front of a crowd Saturday:
It makes it more fun. You’re putting on a show for the fans. This will be my first time playing at Lockhart.

On what the spring game means:
We have a motto. We have to take the spring game momentum into fall camp. It determines the depth chart.

On momentum into the summer:
The coaches aren’t around for the first so many weeks so it’s up to the leaders. Swasey and Colas and those guys won’t let us lose any momentum.
