Q&A with Jermaine Grace

Read on to see what Jermaine Grace is saying a couple days before the team's spring game.

On spring:
It went very well for me. I picked everything up. I learned the plays and my weight keeps going up. It’s going good.

On goals:
Really, just the hard work we’re putting in will give us a chance to be a dominant team. We want to bring the swag back to The U and we’re putting in the work to get it done.

On which player stepped up most:
DO, #58. He’s learning mike and will. He stepped up and played all three linebacker positions. He stepped it up and played all over the place.

On playing in front of a crowd:
Everyone say how they like everything is open. It makes everyone want to work harder. It brings a thrill to you.

On the importance:
A lot. Basically this spring game we have to show everyone that The U is back. We’ll come out and play hard, fast, and physical.

On what the team has been chanting lately:
Head Crack, the U is back. We do it in meetings and out here and it’s our message that we’ll be back. The coastal is our biggest goal.
