Canes offer Atlanta WR

The Hurricanes extended an offer to one of the top wide receiver prospects in the state of Georgia this week. Read on to learn more about him and to see what Miami's chances are.

"I just got offered by the University of Miami," Josh Imatorbhebhe announced earlier this week. He plays wide receiver at North Gwinnett High in Atlanta.

Imatorbhebhe is a big body outside, something the current coaching staff really prefers when it comes to evaluations at the position. He's a big outside receiver who runs really well and has excellent quickness for someone his size. He's a big, thick, strong kid who can make plays in traffic and will be able to create some mismatches down inside the redzone.

Imatorbhebhe had earlier offers from schools like Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, USC, Florida, and Auburn so he's already being recruited like one of the top wide receiver prospects in the whole South.

He's never been to Miami before but has already been to Florida twice, Stanford, USC, Georgia, Tennessee, and a few others so it appears the Canes are a bit late to the offer party here. It's not going to be an easy pull but he's someone to keep an eye on now.

The Canes already have three wide receiver commitments in the Class of 2016 but only one from an outside receiver prospect. This offer indicates they're still looking to add more to the current group.
