Canes offer Top Cali WR

The Hurricanes continue searching all across the country for top wide receiver prospects. They found another one on Monday and offered him. Read on to learn about him as a prospect and what Miami's chances are.

"I received an offer from Miami," Osiris St. Brown announced on Monday evening.

At 6-feet and 170 pounds, St. Brown plays at Servite High in Anaheim. He's considered one of the top 2017 WR prospects in the entire state.

He finished his sophomore season with 19 catches for 359 yards and four touchdowns. He was the third leading receiver on his high school team.

St Brown landed early offers from schools like Utah and Illinois and then picked up Michigan and Notre Dame in recent months. Miami threw its name into the hat today when he was in town for an unofficial visit.

The Canes have been a bit late on some offers lately but they jumped on this one early, especially considering the California schools haven't offered yet.

He was on campus for a visit Monday so there's definite early interest on his part. He's clearly a 2017 WR prospect to keep a close eye on.
