Canes 2016 Recruiting Board: RB

Miami has one of the nation's top-rated recruiting classes for 2016 heading into the summer. has the latest Recruiting Board. Today we look at the running back position.

COMMITTED: Amir Rasul and Zack Moss

OFFERED: Adrian Killins Jr., Deon McIntosh, Carlin Fils-Aime, Travis Homer, Kaezon Pugh, Tony Jones, and Robert Washington

Rasul (5-10/190) committed to the Hurricanes back in January following a Junior Day event at the school. The Coral Gables High standout has become one of the most heavily recruited running back prospects in the entire South. USC, Notre Dame, Georgia, and Florida State are some of his other offers. He remains solidly committed to the Canes.

Moss (5-9/200) played his junior season at Mater Academy but will play his senior season at Hallandale High. He committed to the Canes following an offer earlier this spring. Kentucky and Cincinnati are his other two FBS offers. Mainly because he's not being recruited nearly as hard by other schools, he's more likely to remain in the class throughout the year than Rasul.

Killins is one of the best players on a loaded Mainland team up in Daytona Beach. At 5-9 and 165, Killins also has offers from schools like Michigan State, West Virginia, and South Florida. His offer came before Moss committed so it's unclear how hard Miami will continue recruiting him.

Deon McIntosh (5-11/170) is considered by many to be the top running back prospect in Broward for the 2016 class. He has offers from schools like Miami, Notre Dame, Penn State, and Wisconsin. Miami is in good shape here, especially since his brother (Richard) signed with the Canes as part of their 2015 class.

Carlin Fils-Aime (5-11/180) is a very talented running back from Naples High, and he's friends with UM 2016 DB commit Tyler Byrd. He has offers from schools like Alabama, Ohio State, Georgia, and Michigan so it's not going to be easy for Miami to land him. He's been on campus a few times this year already though so he's clearly one to watch.

Travis Homer (5-11/195) had a tremendous junior season at Oxbridge Academy in West Palm Beach and is now among the most heavily recruited running backs in south Florida. Alabama, Florida State, Michigan, and Florida are some of his other offers. He took multiple visits to Miami during the spring so the Canes appear to be in solid shape.

Kaezon Pugh (6-1/185) is one of the most heavily recruited running back prospects in the state of Pennsylvania. Nebraska, Penn State, Auburn, and West Virginia are some of his other offers. He doesn't seem to have much interest in Miami right now.

Tony Jones (6-0/215) is widely considered the state's top running back prospect this year. The IMG Academy standout landed numerous offers very early but then made an early pledge to Notre Dame. The Canes don't appear to be trying too hard to change his mind either.

Robert Washington (5-10/215) is one of the top running back prospects in the state of North Carolina. Miami offered him early on but he has already committed to Syracuse.

Devin Singletary (5-8/190) is the latest offer at this position. He's coming off a solid junior season at American Heritage in Delray. Florida State, North Carolina, and Colorado are some of his other offers. He has a lot of early interest in Miami.
