Miami is the newest offer for Broward WR

Miami already has commitments from a few elite wide receivers in south Florida for the 2016 class. Now they've offered a wide receiver teammate of one of those players. Read on to learn more about him as a prospect and to see what Miami's chances are.

"Blessed to receive an Offer From THE University of Miami," said Mike Harley.

At 5-foot-10 and 150 pounds, Harley is a 2017 wide receiver prospect from St. Thomas Aquinas High.

Nike numbers from the spring:
29-inch vertical jump
30-foot power toss

Harley did not play on varsity at St. Thomas as a sophomore in 2017 but he had a strong enough spring that he collected a handful of major offers. Some of the schools who offered Harley before Miami are South Carolina, Cincinnati, Purdue, NC State, and Syracuse.

Miami made the offer to Harley the day he finished playing in a high school 7on7 tournament on UM's campus, which means the Miami coaches got an up close evaluation of him over the weekend.

He's a small kid and doesn't have the production at the prep level yet but he's one of the fastest and quickest receivers in South Florida.

The Canes have now offered the quarterback (Jake Allen) at STA, have a commitment from their top receiver (Sam Bruce), and now have offered another standout receiver on that team.
