Miami is 3rd BCS offer for 6-foot-5 OL

Miami is still seeking its first offensive line commitment for the 2016 class. Today, they extended another offer. This one went to one of the top line prospects in the Tampa area. Read on to learn about him as a prospect and to see what Miami's chances are.

Miami became the latest offer for Brandon Walton today, according to Scout.com's Corey Bender.

At 6-foot-5 and 280 pounds, Walton is a 2016 offensive tackle prospect from Seminole High on the West Coast of Florida.

Cincinnati and Kentucky were his two other BCS offers before the Hurricanes came calling today. Considering his ideal size and plus athleticism, it's somewhat surprising that more schools have not pulled the offer trigger yet.

The standout offensive line prospect has not taken any known visits yet so it's hard to tell where most of his interest is at this stage of the game. Being the first major Florida program to offer -- even before the hometown USF Bulls -- has to help Miami's chances here.

The Canes have the biggest 2016 commitment list in all of college football but they're still seeking their first offensive line commitment. They've offered a bunch, and now Walton is on that list.
