Linder talks about changing his body

Read on to see what sophomore offensive lineman Nick Linder is saying a few days into fall camp.

On transforming his body since last season:
I sat down with our head nutritionist. I knew what I wanted to do with my body. What can I say about our strength staff. They show up every single day, push us to our limits, and they produce results so what can I say?

On chemistry with QB Brad Kaaya
“We’ve been working good together. Over the summer, we sat down a couple times in the meeting rooms and watched film and that’s starting to translate out here, granted we have miles to go.”

How comfortable are you playing center?
“I’m very comfortable. I like to live in that world of the film room, the white board and all that good stuff. I learned a lot last year from guys like Shane [McDermott], Jon [Feliciano] and Ereck [Flowers] that was a great tool to put in my tool box.”

On replacing some key starters:
We’re capable of a lot. We have big shoes to fill and we are more than willing. I like what I see. It’s a great group, Everything is going in the right direction.

On Hunter Knighton’s return:
He’s playing center, guard, he’s strong and quick. It’s great having him back and he’s a smart player as well.

On being able to play guard or center:
As we saw last year, injuries happen so you have to be able to move around. I’ll play guard or center, whatever.
