Canes offer fast-rising OL prospect

The Hurricanes were one of the most recent offers for a very fast rising offensive line prospect from the Midlands Region. Read on for more.

Tramonda Moore says the Hurricanes offered him last week. At 6-foot-5 and 340 pounds, Moore is a massive offensive line prospect from John Marshall High in Oklahoma City.

Lightly recruited until the summer, Moore's stock started going way up following a strong summer camp circuit. He's landed offers in the last couple weeks from schools like Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Florida State, and Alabama.

Moore went from a prospect with very little recruiting attention to now being one of the more heavily recruited line prospects in the entire country.

He's never been to Miami before so it's hard to tell how much interest he has. The challenge the Cane coaches face is getting him to take a visit here to remain in the mix.

Miami just landed its first offensive line commitment in the 2016 class last week when Jawaan Taylor -- another 340-pounder -- committed to the Canes.
