Canes lose 2016 commitment

The Hurricanes lost a commitment on Sunday. Read on to learn about it.

"I have decided to decommit from Miami,' Jawaan Taylor said. "It's been an honor and a privilege to be committed to the University of Miami."

At 6-foot-4 and 345 pounds, Taylor is a three-star interior offensive line prospect from Cocoa High. He committed to the Hurricanes several months ago and also had scholarship offers from schools like Clemson, Cincinnati, and Pittsburgh.

Florida offered him a couple days ago and it didn't take long for him to flip his pledge in favor of the Gators.

Losing Taylor means Miami currently has zero offensive line commitments in the 2016 class so that will be a priority down the stretch for the next head coach.
