It has started: UGA commit sets visit to UM

Mark Richt coming over from Georgia has people wondering if any of their commitments would become interested in Miami. Well, it has started. Read on.

Malek Young told Scout.com's Corey Bender that he will be taking an official visit to Miami on January 15. The US Army All-American is a two-way player at Coconut Creek High but is being recruited to play cornerback at the college level.

Young, 5-foot-10 and 190 pounds, first committed to the Bulldogs back in April but has kept things open a bit, as he's taken recent visits to Ohio State and Auburn.

The Hurricanes offered him early in the process but he never gave them much consideration. That is changing now, and the Canes will have a chance to flip him on a visit next month.
