The Hurricanes lost another commitment today. Read on for the details.

The Hurricanes lost their third commitment in the last four days today when Desmond Phillips decided to back off his pledge to Miami. The news was first reported by Scout's Corey Bender.

At 5-foot-11 and 175 pounds, Phillips is a lightly recruited wide receiver prospect from Miami Jackson High who first committed to the Canes just recently. He has other offers from schools like USF, Syracuse, and UConn.

Three-star tight end Evan Hinson and four-star tight end Tre McKitty also de-committed from the Canes this week.
