Report: UGA RB coach headed to UM

University of Georgia running backs coach Thomas Brown is headed to Miami, according to reports.

Thomas Brown is following Mark Richt to Miami, according to a Tuesday report by the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

Brown played running back for Richt at UGA before having a brief career in the NFL. After his playing days were over he quickly became an assistant under Richt. He left for a year to coach running backs at Wisconsin before returning to UGA.

The report says Brown is expected to remain with UGA through their bowl game before coming to Miami.

The same report says that John Lilly and Bryan McClendon have also been offered jobs on Richt's staff at Miami. They coached tight ends and wide receivers, respectively, this past season.
