4-star Jack Allison is already enrolled in school. No one else is being recruited.
4-star Travis Homer is firmly committed and no one else is on the board.
Sam Bruce, Dionte Mullins and Latrell Williams are committed. There are still several others in the mix. Randrecous Davis is likely going to be the next commitment. Ahmmon Richards is the best of the remaining options and it's a battle between Miami and Alabama. Juco Javon Wims (UGA commit) and Kelvin Harmon (UM or NC State) have visited in recent weeks and Elijah Stove (Auburn commitment) is scheduled to visit here this weekend. They all seem like backup plans in case Davis and/or Richards head elsewhere. Tight End:
Michael Irvin Jr is committed. He could play WR or TE but has been recruited by Todd Hartley, who coaches tight ends, so that should be a clue to where his future lies here. UM is all over Jovani Haskins, a 3-star from NJ. Mark Richt spent a lot of time in his home Monday.
There are no commitments and there are two longshots who may visit here this weekend -- Tramonda Moore (Oklahoma City) and Joncarlos Valentine (Philadelphia; Oklahoma commitment).
Pat Bethel is committed and in school already. Joseph Jackson is firmly committed as well. Tyreic Martin is the other player still in the mix. Hes a 3-star from Alabama who was being recruited by Coach Kool at Missouri. He is scheduled to visit here this weekend and there's a good chance he'll sign with UM if given the chance.
No one is committed but the Canes definitely want some here because they've been actively recruiting a bunch lately. Bristen Guidry (Arkansas commit), Marcel Southall (from Texas) and Kobe Jones (from Mississippi) have visited here lately. Guidry remains committed to Arkansas. Southall seems the most likely for Miami but it'll be tough pulling him away from Texas and OU. Jones was a late addition to the list and it'll be very tough to pull him away from the SEC.
Shaq Quarterman, Mike Pinckney, and Zach McCloud are all in school already. No one else is in the mix here.
Tyler Byrd (Naples) and Malek Young (Coconut Creek) are committed to Miami. Byrd, who has been committed for over a year, is visiting Tennessee this weekend. He has a close friend going there as well and his primary recruiting coach at UM was Larry Scott, who is now recruiting him for the Vols. He should still pick Miami.
Cedric Wright and Jeff James (could play safety or corner) are both solid commitments. Henry Miller visited last weekend but remains committed to Pitt. Miami got on him late. Romei Finley is visiting here this weekend from Niceville. There's a decent chance the Canes can land him if they have room at the end of the day.
