Jerry Jeudy is expected to be at Miami's Paradise Camp this Saturday according to Scout.com's Corey Bender. It will mark the third time this year that the talented pass-catcher from Deerfield Beach High will be on UM's campus.
At 6-foot-1 and 180 pounds, Jeudy put his name on the recruiting map with a terrific junior season in 2015. He finished the season with 41 catches for 496 yards and 10 touchdowns. He started getting recruited nationally during his junior season.
Alabama has been considered the favorite for a long time now, and he was on their campus earlier this year. Other schools seriously in the mix are Miami, Florida State, and Tennessee.
Here are some of Jeudy's numbers from this year's NIKE Camp:
36-inch vertical jump
42-foot power toss
The Hurricanes currently have three wide receiver commitments in the 2017 class but none of them are considered to be on the same level as Jeudy. He would be a game-changer and someone Canes fans should be watching closely. This weekend will provide Miami's coaching staff with a tremendous opportunity to narrow the gap between them and Alabama or perhaps even take the lead.
