Marcus Vick Talks about Miami

Marcus Vick is one of the nation's top quarterback prospects this season and he says he has a good idea of which five schools he wants to visit. Miami is one of them. He talks about the recent commitment of Marc Guillon and how that might affect his decision, and more in this interview.

At 6-feet and 180 pounds, Vick is one of the premier quarterback prospects in America. Vick was timed at 4.50 at Virginia's summer camp. He currently has a 2.3 GPA and a 1080 SAT score, making him a full qualifier. In his season opener, Vick rushed for over 200 yards and scored three touchdowns. He also threw for over 100 and threw a touchdown, and also returned a kickoff for a touchdown.

Which schools have called so far this month: Miami, Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia, and Notre Dame were the main ones.

Which schools have sent scholarship offers now: All five of those I just mentioned have now offered me.

If signing day were tomorrow, what's it looking like: I'm not real sure yet. The schools I mentioned are my top 5 right now. I don't have a leader at the moment.

Do you have any visits scheduled: Not yet, but I will visit all five of those - Miami, Georgia, Tennessee, Georgia, and Notre Dame. I just need to set the dates.

Talk about Miami: They're a great team. They're #1 right now. They have a great offense. They have great players at every position. They're trying to work out a visit.

They just got a QB commitment, talk about that: Oh man, I dont care about that. It doesn't matter to me. You're always going to have to compete, and that's what I'm all about. Personally, I still like the chances of Vick becoming UM's second quarterback commitment in this year's class. He's good friends with running back Michael Johnson, who also likes Miami a lot.
