Q&A with Ahmmon Richards

Read on to see what freshman wide receiver Ahmmon Richards was saying following Wednesday's practice.

On playing on the road…

“We’re gonna get booed, but I mean... I use that as fuel, personally so... just looking forward to it”

On game day preparation…

“Obviously I’m not the same on game day…it’s just like that buildup, all week, I get to the game, I just let loose. I just have like an attitude on gameday - serious, mad.”

On how comfortable he is in the offense…

“Pretty comfortable. My first week when I got here, it was like everything’s fast, but now, I kind of got the tempo, like college speed, and how Coach Richt wants to run plays, everything is high tempo. Honestly, I kind of have it down pat at this point.”

On his dropped pass on a deep ball from QB Brad Kaaya…

“I should’ve stopped and high-pointed the ball. I was trying to let it fall into my hands, but next time I’ll go up and go get it. But I still dropped the ball.”

On playing in his first road game…

“They’re not going like you, I would say. They’re not going be cheering for you, that will be the biggest difference.... Different environment, they’re going be loud and I would say just playing in a different environment in the mountains, different experience than being out here.”
