UM Offensive Linemen Talk FSU, UNC

Read on to see what some of Miami's offensive linemen were saying Tuesday afternoon.

Kc McDermott, Jr., Offensive Line

On Brad Kaaya being knocked down on Saturday and how that bothers the offensive line…

“The fact that we let him get knocked down bothers us a lot. But in the end it really makes us focus on doing everything right even more the next time. Brad is an amazing quarterback and we do not ever want to see him get hurt or on the ground, so we have to do our job and make sure that he is upright on every play.”

On Brad Kaaya’s toughness after all the hits…

“He is a tough player and we saw that last year. He continues to show it and he is a great leader.”

On bouncing back from Saturday’s loss…

“We bounce back by focusing on the next opponent. What happened in the past, remains in the past. We have North Carolina next and that is all we can focus on.”

On today’s practice…

“Today’s practice was a good one. We came out here we focused on our opponent and on what we need to do during this Saturday’s game.”

Danny Isidora, Sr., Offensive Line

On the opening hit on Brad Kaaya Saturday

“That was on us as an offensive line. It was a blitz that we did not pick up.”

On the protection up front…

“We cannot feel sorry for ourselves. We just have to get better because we have a lot more games to play.”

Nick Linder, Jr., OL

On how did Brad Kaaya looked today in practice…

“He’s doing good, he’s getting better and he was moving around good. I know he’s doing his treatment and everything he needs to be doing in the training room.”

On watching the film from the FSU game…

“It was tough, but there can’t be any hangover and we know that we need to fix our mistakes and learn from it and move on.”

On North Carolina…

“They’re a good team. You can’t say anything bad about them. They pursue, they’re physical, they’re going to get after you and as of last year, well we know what happened last year, so we know we’re going to try to come out and have a lot of energy.”
