"I came to First Coast as a receiver but then I was moved to quarterback because our starter got hurt," McIntosh said. "Now I'm back at receiver and thats where I'll play in college."
McIntosh, 6-1 and 180 with 4.5 speed, also plays basketball and runs track. His 10.6 100m time is a personal best and he qualified for the state meet.
"I wasn't able to go because that was the same time as our spring game and I felt like I needed to be there instead," he said. "I plan on being (at states) next year."
The standout receiver is among the most heavily recruited players in Florida right now.
"Everything's going good," he said. "I'm getting all the letters and everything now but the coaches will start calling again pretty soon so things will pick back up."
McIntosh talked about his current leader board.
"I'm looking at Clemson, Miami, LSU, FSU, and Florida," he said. "They have all offered me and that is where I plan on taking my five visits."
McIntosh, who attended the Florida/Miami game last season and plans on being at the FSU/Florida game this year, talked more about the Hurricanes.
"Coach [Hargreaves] is my recruiting coach and he's been writing me and stuff," he said. "I talked to him in the spring. I have a verbal offer from them and I'm interested in checking them out. I want to see what it's like there because the success they have is obvious."
When asked for a favorite, McIntosh wasnt able to come up with just one or two.
"It changes," he said. "I really won't know for sure until after my visits so I'll say they're all the same right now."
