Navaughn Donaldson was an early commitment to the University of Miami. At 6-foot-5 and 330 pounds. Donaldson is an offensive tackle prospect from Miami Central High School.
Despite the early commitment, Donaldson kept getting recruited nationally and kept visiting other schools. He spent time at various summer camps at places like North Carolina, USC, Georgia, Florida State, and Florida in addition to Miami.
Donaldson stuck with his original commitment to Miami throughout all of those visits but kept things open into the fall. He took official visits this fall to Florida State, Florida, and North Carolina.
His official to Miami this past weekend put an official end to the entire process for the 4-start lineman, who received a home visit from Mark Richt the same day he finished his official visit here.
"I'm closing up my recruiting," Donaldson announced today. "I'm officially 100% Miami Hurricane."
This comes as great news for the Hurricanes, as they will land one of the state's premier offensive line prospects.
Donaldson is one of four offensive line commitments in Miami's 2017 class joining Corey Gaynor, Zach Dykstra, and Zalontae Hillery.
