WR de-commits from Miami

The Hurricanes lost a wide receiver commitment on Thursday night. Read on to learn all about it.

Kevaughn Dingle is a 2017 wide receiver prospect from Carol City HS in Miami. At 6-foot-1 and 190 pounds, Dingle made a commitment to Miami back in March. That didn't stop other schools from recruiting him as he collected summer offers from schools like Louisville, Kentucky, and NC State.

Less than a week after winning a state championship on the field, Dingle received an in-home visit from Kentucky's Lamar Thomas. One night later, Dingle announced that he's no longer committed to the Hurricanes.

Dingle makes it clear that it wasn't his decision -- Miami's coaches stopped actively recruiting him. They have decided to go in a different direction. Here is what he said about the situation:
