Q&A with Kendrick Norton

Read on to see everything defensive tackle Kendrick Norton was saying following Tuesday's practice.

Kendrick Norton, Jr., Defensive Line
On who has improved the most on defense…
“I mean, it is hard to point out one specific guy. Everybody has been coming out here working every day. Because I see them more, [redshirt freshman defensive lineman] Tyreic Martin, [freshman defensive lineman Jonathan] Garvin, those guys have been coming out and they really have been attacking. So I noticed some of the young guys that have improved a lot. They improved a lot.”

On the offensive line, who is making progress…
“[No.] 55 [offensive lineman Navaughn Donaldson], the freshman. The incoming freshman, he has been doing well. He has been holding his own. He is running with, I believe, the ones or twos. He has been holding his own out there. Also, [junior offensive lineman] Tyler Gauthier is stepping up at the center spot. He has been doing really well this season. But, you know, everybody has been coming out here attacking the days. Everybody is trying to get better.”

On the scrimmage…
“I believe we did pretty well. You know, it’s always a couple things you can work on. Overall, we did pretty well. We have to come out and keep focusing on tackling and things like that. Little things that ultimately win you games.”

On the final scrimmage coming up…

“It is a chance to end the spring off right. We have been coming out here, attacking every day, working really hard. So it is a chance to end spring in the right way.”
