"We won 16-0 and I had about 14 tackles and two or three sacks," Schweiger said. "We got the shutout but we have to limit some of our mistakes. They ran to the other side every time. I guess I just have to expect that this year."
Schweiger, a full academic qualifier, said he's also enjoying the recruiting process in the meantime.
"I took an official visit to Michigan last week," he said. "It was a great trip. Getting a chance to watch a game in front of that many people was nice. I'll set the rest up later in the season. The ones I want to visit are the same -- SC, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, and Michigan."
The talented defensive end said he gets so many phone calls from college coaches that he decided to limit them.
"I decided that I will only talk to the schools that are in my top five," he said. "Those are the ones I mentioned. They have all called me this month."
Then Schweiger paused and added, "actually, I haven;t heard from Miami yet. I talked to them in the spring and I got a lot of handwritten letters from them over the summer but I havent gotten a call from them yet this month. I dont answer all my calls so I hope they have called. I'm going to try visiting them later in the year because I'm very interested in Miami."
