Sportsbook Sets U\M 2017 Win Total at 8.5

Las Vegas sportsbook operator CG Technology has released its projected win totals for college football teams in 2017. Miami checked in at 8.5.

Released via ESPN, Miami's over/under win total for 2017 is 8.5 according to the Sportsbook in Las Vegas.

Alabama leads the list with a win total of 10.5, followed by Ohio State (10). 

Only 50 teams were included on the list and six of Miami's opponents in 2017 made the list. Florida State led the way with 9.5, followed by Virginia Tech (9), Pittsburgh (7.5), North Carolina (7), Georgia Tech (6.5) and Duke (5.5). The Hurricanes will play four of those games on the road -- FSU, Pitt, UNC, and Duke.

Bethune Cookman, Arkansas State, Toledo, Syracuse, Notre Dame, and Virginia did not make the list.

The Hurricanes will open the 2017 season with a home game against Bethune Cookman on September 2.
