RB Prospect To Watch

The Hurricanes currently have two top notch running back commitments. Just in case something were to happen to the status of their commitments, here's someone else to keep an eye on.

Coleton Beck from Blacksburg HS in Virginia is being watched by the Hurricanes staff.

6-1/185 and the kid ran a 10.58 at one of his track meets this year. He ran a 10.87 at states as a freshman. The kid has a more impressive size/speed combo than even Lorenzo Lingard and Camron Davis.

He had a tremendous junior season -- over 1,300 yards and 26 touchdowns. He also caught 10 passes.

North Carolina, UVA, Boston College, Syracuse, and Mississippi State are some of the schools that offered him this spring.

Miami is watching him but has not yet offered. If anything changes with regards to Lingard or Davis, Beck will become someone to really keep a close eye on.

The Canes currently own the nation's top-ranked recruiting class for 2018, and the two running backs are a big reason for that.
