"2019 RB Keshawn King has been offered by the University of Miami"
That was according to the coach at Oakleaf High in Jacksonville, the same school that sent UM linebackers Darrion Owens and Shaquille Quarterman in recent years.
At 5-foot-11.5 and 180 pounds, Kings attended a Nike Camp back in February and here were his testing numbers:
34-foot power toss
36-inch vertical jump
King put his name on the recruiting map as a sophomore in 2016 by rushing for 1,351 yards and 16 touchdowns. He added 18 catches for 196 yards and two scores.
Some of his other early offers include South Florida, UCF, Cincinnati, and Southern Miss.
The Canes currently have four commitments in the 2019 class but none of those players are running backs.
