In-state TE Making Noise

At 6-foot-4 and 230 pounds, Crescent City's Brian Kuhn is among the state's top tight end prospects.

Kuhn is a sleeper that I saw in early August and felt he was a major Div 1 prospect. It turns out, he was getting those types of recruiting calls. At Florida's camp, Kuhn checked in at 6-foot-4 and 225 pounds and ran a 4.70/40. He also went to Miami's camp for a day, but didn't go through all the drills. He's a full qualifier inside the classroom and goes both ways.

Which schools have been calling you this month: Auburn, Maryland, Florida, Miami, and Georgia.

Which of those schools have offered you a scholarship: Auburn and Maryland from that list. There were also a few others.

If signing day were tomorrow, what's it looking like: I really like Florida, they're probably my leader. I went to their game a couple weeks ago.

Have you scheduled any official visits: Florida wants me to visit in early January. Auburn wants me to come visit for the Alabama game. Maryland wants me to come in December. And Georgia and Miami will also probably get a visit.

Talk about Miami: They're just blowing people out so far. They invited me for the Washington game, which would have been really cool. They're still working on my situation since I'll graduate in December.

Personally, it sounds like he's on our watch list but not at the top. I truly think Florida will offer him eventually and that's likely where he will end up. But still, he's a kid to watch, especially if he visits.
