At 6-foot-2 and 185 pounds, Aromashodu has 4.45 speed and a 43-inch vertical jump. Inside the classroom, he's fully qualified. In six games this season, he has 15 catches for 320 yards and four touchdowns. He's also carried the ball 8 times for 238 yards (29.7 average) and three touchdowns, all on reverses.
Which schools have been calling you this fall: Pretty much the same ones. Northwestern, Ohio State, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Florida State, Florida, and Miami.
What's your visit schedule looking like: I'm supposed to visit Northwestern on November 30, Michigan State on Nov 2, and Notre Dame on Nov 16. I dont know if I'll visit Notre Dame because they're not having a real good season and I dont know if the coaches will be there after this season. I'm probably going to the Florida State/Florida game on an unofficial visit because Florida wants me to visit in January and not during the season. And I probably won't even make an official visit to Miami since it's right here.
If signing day were tomorrow, what's it looking like: It would still be Miami, but I haven't heard from them in about six weeks. They called on September 1, but haven't called since then. Everyone else calls me every week. Florida State and Florida call every week. Coach Coker called me in the spring and CJ called on September 1, but nobody has called since then and I dont know why. That's why I'm going to take my other visits.
Personally, I think this is very surprising. Usually a local kid like this doesn't go six weeks without being called unless there's a reason. Devin told me he's going to call UM today and find out the scoop, so stay tuned. I'll have an update in about a week or so. Aromashodu is gearing up for a showdown with Carol City a week from Friday, a game in which he says he hopes Coach Johnson will be watching.
