STA's Anthony Wollschlager offers his insights as to why Miami is at the top of his list. At 6-foot-5 and 295 pounds, he's one of the state's top offensive line prospects and he talks about the entire recruiting process in this exclusive interview with grassy.com.

At 6-foot-5 and 295 pounds, Wollschlager is starting for the third straight season for St. Thomas Aquinas, which is one of the elite football programs in the entire state. Inside the classroom, he carries a 4.0 GPA and 1210 SAT score.

Which schools have been calling you this fall: Notre Dame, Michigan, Miami, Nebraska, Northwestern, Iowa, Stanford, Ohio State, and Florida.

Which of those schools have offered you a scholarship: All of them except for Michigan, Miami, and Nebraska.

If signing day were tomorrow, what's it looking like: It would be somewhere between Miami, Michigan, and Notre Dame. I want to take some visits to these places and learn more about the schools.

Speaking of visits, have you scheduled any: Northwestern is the only one so far.

Talk about Miami: I really like Miami. They have an excellent football program and a great school. Miami's definitely among the top choices on my list. I've been there for unofficial visits and I am very impressed. I may not use an official visit there because I've seen it already, but we'll see about that later.

How close do you think they are from offering you: I talked to Randy Shannon about it and they said they are traditionally late to offer kids. He said they can wait till late in the season to offer kids because then they can pick which kids they want. So I'm just going to keep playing hard and see what happens.

Personally, I think Wollschlager will be a Hurricane if they offer him a scholarship. Right now, it's probably up in the air, but definitely a kid to keep your eyes on, so stay tuned.
