Offensively, Boldin has 15 receptions for 219 yards and five touchdowns this season. Defensively, he has 40 tackles and one interception.
At 6-foot-1 and 205 pounds, the younger brother of former FSU standout Anquan Boldin is getting some pretty good recruiting attention.
"I'm actually leaving to go on a visit to West Virginia this weekend," he said. "Then I got Indiana. Wake Forest was here (for an in-home visit) and I'm gonna set something up with them too. Kansas State, Iowa, Michigan State, and Pittsburgh all call every week too."
Despite the heavy interest from out of state programs, Boldin's hoping to receive a scholarship offer from the in-state powers.
"The coaches at UM and Florida State have been talking to my coach," he said. "I talked to Florida State about two weeks ago. Miami, their offensive coordinator, called me about two weeks ago. He said keep up the good work and they'll be watching me. He said a scholarship might open up late."
In the meantime, Boldin has offers from several other programs.
"It would be tight if Florida State or Miami did," he said. "To follow my brother's career through Florida State would be real nice and going to Miami would too. I just gotta wait and see what's gonna happen."
Boldin, who also participates in varsity basketball and track, will help his team compete in the state championship game next Friday.
