DB Enjoys UM Visit

Jacksonville (Fla.) Ed White standout cornerback Dwayne Grace spent the weekend in his former hometown of Miami, making an official visit to the University of Miami.

"It was real tight," Grace said. "I was chillin with Jon Beason and Willie Cooper. It was really the first chance I had a chance to chill with the players and the coaches and I really enjoyed it."

The talented cornerback said there's a lot to like about the UM program and he saw it up close.

"It's a great place," he said. "I knew how much I liked them going in but it was even better than I thought. The players are real competitive and I like that."

Grace had a chance to meet with head coach Larry Coker earlier today.

"He was just telling me how much they like me and how I can come in there and help them on special teams and at cornerback," he said. "I think I could fit in really well."

Grace, who had an in-home visit with Vernon Hargreaves last Wednesday, said he got along real well with some of the other players, including two players that have already committed to Miami.

"There was me, Doug Dutch, a dude named Devon Lyons, and some kid named (Calais) from Denver," he said. "(Campbell) was already committed. Doug committed on Saturday. He knew right away."

The talented cornerback will now wait till his visit to Florida to determine who will get his signature on signing day.

"It's now Miami and Florida," he said. "I really like Miami but I wanna visit Florida first before I make my decision. I go there on January 16th. I'm just gonna chill until then."
