Is Josh Johnson committed?

Linebacker Josh Johnson took his official visit to the University of Miami this past weekend and came away very impressed. "It was fun," Johnson said. "I have been big on Miami for a long time now, grew up watching them on TV. They have a great program and it's something I've wanted to be a part of."

Johnson was hosted by linebacker Rocky McIntosh and said he really enjoyed hanging out with the players.

"They were really cool," he said. "I like how hungry and competitive they are, even with each other. I guess that's what makes them so good because they have the talent."

Johnson said running through the smoke at the Orange Bowl was something he won't soon forget.

"I liked it a lot," he said. "Everyone liked it, it was a lot of fun."

The talented linebacker was asked about a commitment.

"I don't know," he said. "They asked me if I wanted to come and I said yes. But I still wanna take my other visits Of course I'd like to go to Miami, who wouldnt?"

Johnson was asked if he should be listed as a commitment to the Hurricanes.

"I'm not sure," he said. "Do guys that are committed take other visits? I know it's gonna be out of either Florida or Miami. I might like Florida a lot too and I got some family near (Gainesville). It's sorta confusing right now."

Johnson had a chance to hang out with some other recruits on the visit, including teammate Michael Grant.

"I know he liked it too," he said. "He also likes Miami and Florida, and Georgia too."
