Behind The Scenes Look At UM Football On Tonight

The No.1 University of Miami football team won't resume their attempt at a fifth national title for another week, but the Hurricanes will be in the spotlight this evening.

The Hurricanes will be the subject of The Season: A Week with the Miami Hurricanes, an in-depth look at the team during game-week preparations. The show, which will be replayed Sunday night on ESPN (10:30 p.m.), will debut tonight at 11:30 p.m. on ESPN2.

The half-hour special, filmed by an ESPN camera crew last week, chronicled the Hurricanes and head coach Larry Coker from the end of the Troy State game and through the Seminoles contest. The crew had total access for the unnarrated show.

"We had unprecedented access," said Rob Tobias of ESPN.

The UM-West Virginia contest will be televised to a national audience on ESPN 2. The game, originally scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m., will kickoff at 7 p.m.

For those interested, fans can attend the Hurricanes remaining four home games through the '4th Down Ticket Package', which includes WVU (Oct. 25), Temple (Nov. 3), Syracuse (Nov. 17) and Washington (Nov. 24). For more information call 1-800-GO-CANES.
