Ingram Talks Recruiting

It's been a back and forth battle between Miami and Florida State all year for Orlando (Fla.) Edgewater standout free safety Kenny Ingram. Now the talented defender is ready to get the process over with.

"I'm ready man," Ingram said. "I'm doing it on Wednesday for sure. I'm ready to stop all the calls and all the other stuff. It's out of Florida State and Miami."

Ingram, who also took recruiting trips to Georgia and N.C. State, was asked to talk about each of the two programs.

"With Florida State, I just really like the coaches," he said. "I get along with them really well, always have. I liked how they really made me feel comfortable. They put my name and everything on the jumbotron at the stadium.

"Miami, it's a crazy city. I love that. I really liked the coaches and the players. The players were tight, I really got along with a lot of them."

With less than two days left before his announcement, Ingram isn't ready to give any hints.

"It could go either way tell them," he said. "Everyone will know on Wednesday."

So what are the chances that Ingram and teammate Aaron Jones will sign with the same school?

"We never really talked much about that," he said. "He has the same two he's looking at. We'll talk about it on Wednesday."

Ingram, 6-4 and 205 pounds, is a full academic qualifier.
